Birds of Prey Centre Visit

We had a fabulously, fun, flapping time on Friday as we were visited by a hearing of owls from the English School of Falconry.

Children from our Reception and Year 1 class were treated to a display of flying in the school hall and a fab talk all about the owls.  We learned a whole bunch of facts about where they live, what they eat and when they hunt.  Why not ask one of us if we can remember any fun facts.   If an owl has orange eyes it usually hunts at what time of day?

Here are some pictures from the display.  Our favourite part was  closing our eyes then trying to guess when the owl was about to fly over us.
