Wilstead like to celebrate Christmas in style. We have had our concert in the school, Christmas Dinner served by the teachers and today we merrily made our way along Cotton End Road and up to All Saints Church for a Carol Service.
We are always made to feel very welcome at the church and today was no exception. The church has been beautifully decorated and there are over 20 Christmas trees in the church that have been decorated by the different groups and clubs in the village, including one with decorations made by the children at school.
Our children sang the first carol beautifully, the strains of Little Donkey gently fading up to the roof at the end. Mr Robichaud politely reminded the parents that this was a Carol Service not a Carol Concert and the next carol was sung with much more enthusiasm by the whole church.
All too soon our carols were sung and it was time to parade back to school. We would like to say a big thank you to Reverend Toze and the members of All Saints church for sharing their time and lovely building with us and to all the parents and family who came to the church to support us.
We wish you all a Merry Christmas and hope you all enjoy the Christmas celebrations.
