This week we have been learning coordinates in numeracy. Ishari said,
We had great fun playing a coordinate game.

This week in Science we have been building boats and we went to the pond to see if they sank or floated. Charlotte said,
Lots of them floated including my team.
On Wednesday six excited children from Dragonfly Class took part in a Gymnastics festival at Lincroft School. After a very energetic ‘jellybean’ warm up the children were given the opportunity to show us their skills as well as learning some new ones, using equipment such as the beam, vaulting horse and the airtrack (picture a cross between a bouncy castle and an aeroplane runway).
The children enjoyed the afternoon and they were brilliant representatives of Wilstead lower. Each of them received a certificate at the end of the festival and a special ‘Well Done’ sticker from Mr Robichaud.
Well done to Liam, Elizabeth, Jessica, Amy, Joseph and Samuel.
On Thursday we have been learning an uptown funk dance that we performed to year 4. Zayne said,
It was brilliant fun.
