The Heart of the Community

Wilstead
Primary
 School
 was
 opened
in
1959
and
 will accommodate 7
classes at the beginning of academic year 17/18
(1

 each
year
group).

  The
 school
takes the majority of
its
children
from
 the
village
of
Wilstead
 itself
and
is
a
well established
part
of
the
local
community,
with
 strong
 links into
the
local
churches,
businesses
and community
groups.  A history of the school was recently published on the Bedford Borough council communities page and makes interesting reading!
